Methodology and coverage
Coverage
US-listed physically backed gold ETFs only: GLD, IAU, GLDM and IAUM. Gold-miner equity funds, futures and option-income strategies are excluded, and this is not a global Gold ETF flow figure.
How flows are calculated
Each session's flow is computed by ETFIQ from the issuer's change in shares outstanding multiplied by NAV. This site only adds the four funds' figures for the same session; if any fund is missing, that session's total is shown as missing, never zero.
Funds not included
OUNZ has only a few ETFIQ daily observations (since 2026-10-06), so it is left out to keep the history consistent; SGOL, AAAU, BAR have no ETFIQ flow data.
Flows and the gold price
Flows show demand expressed through ETF creations and redemptions. They are not trading volume and do not necessarily move the gold price. Nothing here is investment advice.
